Semi Annual Pilgrim Visit

This blog is a little more than my usual “semi-annual” pilgrim. A few things at office before I started the trip explained in the first few paras, explain a few things that happened to me for the first time J ... Read on... Finally... I got to experience something that I longed for about 4 years now... I got to work in a night shift. Yes, yes, I am one of those crazy freaks who have never worked in night shifts till now, and are crazy to experience it. All those who have gone to that trauma (and are going through) would love to switch places with me, but sorry I didn’t want that forever, I just wanted to “EXPERIENCE” it J I had to guide a team of 2 new joinees in their project, which was in a soup. What I actually had to do is do the “confident talks” with the client :-P and build trust in them about what we were doing was correct – again my first experience in being assigned such a duty. First Rain Showers... My Experience with the start of Monsoon in Pune

I was seated at my desk, when a friend of mine invited me for an evening tea down at the " tapri ". As I stepped out of the office I realized that the clouds had captured the entire sky up to the horizon. Winds were blowing on the face and the atmosphere was perfect for a long drive on a road that never ends! As soon as we finished our tea and a little gossip, it started to drizzle; thundering at a distance was shouting on us to go back to office… and be safe from the start of MONSOON!!! By the time I reached back, I was just blessed by the sprinklings of the start of monsoon, but in next 5 minutes, the entire scene had changed. There was pitch darkness outside, heavy downpour and glass breaking thunders… The view outside my window was scaring people. Someone shouted… "Today it will take at least 2 hours to reach home" someone else commented… "This rain is certainly not going to stop soon" another exclaimed... "How will I go home, its raining so heavi...
